Baja Naval was established in 1987 in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Our mission is to provide our customers with an economical and professional haul-out experience while increasing the safety and value of their yachts. In the spring of 2010, we launched our 6,000th boat, resulting as usual in a smiling and satisfied customer.

Our 120,000-square foot facility and 75-ton Travelift allow us to work on as many as 32 boats simultaneously. We are a full service boatyard. In-house workshops include: carpentry, bottom work, L.P. paint systems, blister repair, mechanical services, naval architecture, hull extensions, stainless steel or aluminum mig and tig welding and fabrication, and teak deck systems, among others. We work on fiberglass, wood, steel or aluminum pleasure crafts, providing our clients with a capable, stable and growing team of experts and artisans, plus a modern boatyard focused on meeting their needs.

Boat Angel Supports Charities, Offers Tax Savings

If you’re no longer using a boat or PWC, Boat Angel, a nonprofit organization that sells vessels for charity, will accept your pleasurecraft for donation.

Boat Angel has successfully processed many boat donations in California. The process is quick and its donors have been extremely happy with the results. Instead of wasting your money to store a vessel you aren’t enjoying, why not donate it and let someone else benefit?

Car Angel/Boat Angel is an authorized 501 C3 charity that can issue donors an immediate receipt. In most cases, it will sell your boat and you will get a 100-percent tax credit with no fees deducted, according to the amount for which the boat sells.

In some cases, donated boats can be repaired or improved by the addition of newer parts and accessories. When Boat Angel sells a refurbished boat, the donor will receive a 100-percent credit according to its retail blue book value as detailed on IRS form 1098c.

Donors can start the process of donating their vessels to Boat Angel by filling out an online form at boatangel.org or by calling (800) 227-2643.

Gambol Industries is a full service boat yard located in Long Beach California. Founded in 1992, Gambol began as a yacht manufacturer, and has developed into Long Beach’s Premier Boat and Shipyard.

Our facility is approximately 100,000 square feet, along with a 120' long concrete pier and 320' of floating docks. For haul outs, we currently use our 30 ton crane and our 300+ ton 'FastLift' to haul vessels as large as 40' wide, 150' Long.
