Heritage Yacht Sales to Present Mainship Trawlers, American Beauty Electric

Heritage Yacht Sales -- with offices in Newport Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles Harbor and now San Diego -- will be presenting the new Mainship 395 Trawler.

The 395 offers a two-stateroom layout with a raised dinette and “up” galley. It has upper and lower steering stations, and both bow and stern thrusters and Garmin electronics are standard.

The interior has been redesigned, with a beautiful new layout using designer- quality materials and cherry wood flooring. The standard 380 hp Yanmar diesel gives 2-3 mpg fuel economy at trawler speeds -- and the boat can reach a top speed of 16 knots.

The 45 Mainship Trawler 2008 is the roomiest 45-footer around. With the 15-foot, 6-inch beam, the two-stateroom, two-head layout has a large well-lighted salon and lower helm. The full-beam flybridge is huge and has three captain’s chairs, additional seating for eight and an open aft deck with a built-in barbecue, refrigerator and sink.

The 45 Mainship Pilot is the Downeast-style version and has twin Yanmar power, with 2-3 gallon per hour fuel economy at cruise and a top speed of 23 knots. The raised salon has 360-degree views and electric overhead windows.

Designed by Ed Monk and built by Nordlund in 1991 Tacoma WA., Wide Waters is a perfect west coast yacht, combining classic good looks with a highly functional interior and deck layout. The spacious galley is open to the salon. The large pilothouse features a comfortable settee and table. Originally one of Nordlund's 63 series, her cockpit was extended five feet. This well done modification greatly improved looks, performance, and most of all, created a comfortable aft cockpit. This is a three stateroom boat, with a particularly generous owner's accommodation. The two 8V-92 Detroit diesels and two Kohler generators are easily maintained in Wide Water's stand up engine room.
